BURGUNDY HOME DECOR IDEAS
In 2026, burgundy is everywhere. In fashion, interior design, home decor. Almost every major design brand has introduced a burgundy version of at least one of its iconic pieces.
And after our post of the iconic burgundy table lamps, we wanted to look beyond lighting and collect some of our favorite burgundy home decor and furniture pieces.
Although yes, Table lamps are still our favorites, but there are some very good alternatives for home decors. Chairs, lamps, stools, storages, you name it. And yes, burgundy is a characteristic color, but it’s surprisingly easy to work with.
The Rey Chair by Hay feels almost made for this color. The simple geometry balances the richness of the burgundy really well. Kartell’s Mobil Mat Trolley is another one e love. This slightly industrial form becomes much warmer and more playful in burgundy. And perfect for smart storage. Mobile and comes with drawers.
And then there’s the Zig Zag Stool by Pols Pottern. Already a pretty bold piece. Somehow, burgundy works even better. It makes the sculptural shape feel deeper, richer, and oven more intentional.
That’s probably what we like most about burgundy. It can be the statement, but it doesn’t have to dominate the space. Introduce one solid burgundy piece into an otherwise quiet material palette and suddenly there’s tension. Contrast. A moment.
Sometimes that’s all a space needs.
